Octinoxate applications:
OMC is a strong UVB absorber. It is an oil soluble, colorless, virtually odorless liquid,which remains a liquid at temperatures as low as -10℃ and can be easily incorporated in the oil phase of a sunscreen formulation. OMC boosts the SPF when used in combination with other UV filters. It is ideal for the formulation of water-resistant sunscreen products. OMC is an excellent solubilizer for crystalline UV absorbers, such as AVB, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Sunobel® OMC is approved world-wide in various concentrations.
